NASTF recommend that every business utilizes an a Company Admin account. These free accounts are normally assigned to the business owner if they do not need access to OE data, or to office support staff. However, there are some parameters to its usage:
- Admin accounts CANNOT access automaker data
- Authorized to call support regarding Primary and Subordinate accounts
- Can assist with maintaining the NASTF account profiles
- Can deactivate Primary and Subordinate accounts
- Can complete D1 forms for Primary and Subordinate accounts
To add a Company Admin account, please follow the steps below.
- Log into the Primary account using email address and password at: https://sdrm.nastfsecurityregistry.org/
- Select the Account Settings menu item
- On the Account Settings page, click Add New towards the top right of the page
- Provide the required information, under Role select Company Admin, and click Save
- Click Back To User Management
- Click Send Password Reset Email for the new Company Admin account
- Have the new admin check their email for the NASTF VSP Reset Password email
- Have the new admin account holder click Reset Password inside the NASTF VSP Reset Password email
- Have the new admin enter their email address and new password, then click Reset Password
To fully login to the SDRM 2.0 system, the new Admin will need to download the Twilio Authy Two-Factor Authenticator app.
Please follow these steps to install the Authy app on their mobile device.
Android
- Open Google Play
- Search for Authy
- Install the Authy 2-Factor Authentication application
- Open the application
- Enter the country code and Cellphone number associated with your NASTF SDRM account
- Choose either a phone call or SMS to receive your Authy account verification code
- If your device does not automatically verify your Authy account, enter the verification code received from Step 6
- Choose NASTF towards the bottom of the screen to view your temporary 7-digit NASTF 2-factor authentication code
iPhone
- Open the App Store
- On the search tab, search for Authy
- Install the Authy app
- Open the application
- Enter the country code and Cellphone number associated with your NASTF SDRM account
- Choose either a phone call or SMS to receive your Authy account verification code
- If your device does not automatically verify your Authy account, enter the verification code received from Step 6
- Choose NASTF towards the bottom of the screen to view your temporary 7-digit NASTF 2-factor authentication code
Additional Notes
- The 7-digit NASTF 2-factor authentication code is active for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds a new code will be generated.
- When entering your NASTF 2-factor authentication code do not use spaces. The spaces are provided for extra readability.
